Darcel Phillips launched FreeBird Studio in 2006.  She exhibited for

several years at both Surtex and the CHA show.  With degrees in

Graphic Design / Illustration and Apparel Design, she designed apparel as

well as hand-painted custom murals, furniture and faux finishes for

Interior Design clients.

She understands the importance of trend research in today's

marketplace, subscribing to a trend service and trade publications,

purchasing color forecasts and trade show reports, and attending trend

seminars to keep her designs on-trend.  She will make changes in scale,

color and layout to facilitate your production needs.  Darcel can also

create the digital comps needed for client presentations.

Her designs appear on fabrics, stationery, greeting cards, cell phone

wallpaper, travel accessories, adult swim and casual wear, children's

swim and casual wear,  and water safety products.  She eagerly

anticipates working with manufacturers in home fashions,  tabletop, gift,

craft and hobby,  children's merchandise and pet products.
